See who is on your ballot by viewing the candidate lists at Virginia Department of Elections. Check back if upcoming ballot information has not yet been published.

Presidential Primary: March 5, 2024

Early Voting: January 19 – March 2

Vote early in person at the Floyd County Registrar’s Office, 100 E. Main St. #302, Floyd, VA 24091, Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm. The last day of in-person early voting is Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Curbside voting is available for people with disabilities or health risks.

Voter Registration Deadline: February 12

If you are a U.S. citizen and Virginia resident, and will be 18 years old by March 5, 2023, you may register to vote in the Presidential Primaries at the Floyd County Registrar’s Office, online at iwillvote.com or at Virginia Department of Election’s Citizen Portal. We can also register you at our campaign office at 115 West Main Street, Suite A, Floyd, VA 24091 (two doors up from Chic’s Antiques). 

Deadline to request absentee Ballot: February 23

Apply to vote by mail at the Floyd County Registrar’s Office or visit the Virginia Department of Elections. Applications must be received by no later than 5 p.m. on February 23, 2024.

LATE REGISTRATION

Register as late as Election Day and use a provisional ballot. 

Presidential Primary: March 5

Vote in person 6 am–7 pm at your polling location (scroll down for the map, or find your polling location at Virginia Department of Election’s Citizen Portal. Curbside voting is available during early voting and on Election Day for people with disabilities or health risks.

Primary Elections: June 18, 2024

Early Voting: May 3 – June 15

If you are a U.S. citizen and Virginia resident, and will be 18 years old by June 18, 2023, you may register to vote in the Primary Elections at the Floyd County Registrar’s Office, online at iwillvote.com or at Virginia Department of Election’s Citizen Portal. We can also register you at our campaign office at 115 West Main Street, Suite A, Floyd, VA 24091 (two doors up from Chic’s Antiques).

If you are a U.S. citizen and Virginia resident, and will be 18 years old by November 5, 2023, you may register to vote in the General Election at the Floyd County Registrar’s Office, online at iwillvote.com or at Virginia Department of Election’s Citizen Portal. We can also register you at our campaign office at 115 West Main Street, Suite A, Floyd, VA 24091 (two doors up from Chic’s Antiques). 

Deadline to request absentee Ballot: October 25

Apply to vote by mail at the Floyd County Registrar’s Office or visit the Virginia Department of Elections. Applications must be received by no later than 5 p.m. on October 25, 2024.

LATE REGISTRATION

General Election: Tuesday, November 5

Voting Districts

On Election Day, voters in the Locust Grove district vote at Check Elementary School; Little River district at Floyd Elementary School; Courthouse district at Floyd County High School; Burks Fork district at Willis Elementary School, and Indian Valley district at Indian Valley Elementary.
