2026 Reorganization Meeting

Our biennial reorganization meeting

Everyone comes to recommit to being members of the committee, and we vote on the leadership of the committee for the next two years. The meeting will begin with continental breakfast and fellowship and move on to the nominations for the executive committee, and voting.

We have four volunteers to be on the executive committee for the 2026-2027 period: Karen Baker and Kamala Bauer will run again for Chair and Vice Chair. Volunteering for the first time will be Kristen Hamilton for Secretary, and Susannah Sanborn for Treasurer.

We will be filling standing committees at this meeting, and we want you to be thinking about what you want to do during this campaign cycle. Among other things, we want to start a Young Democrats group in Floyd — if you are 35 years old or younger, you are a young Democrat.

We really want you to come to the reorg! We will announce overall goals for the upcoming year, give everyone hugs, and be done by 11:00.
