Floyd Dems: Monthly Meeting with Extras!

Our November membership meeting will be at the Hotel Floyd at 6:30 p.m.  It is a potluck.  Bring yourself, and if you are so moved, a dish to share.  We already have four mains, four sides, and a fabulous desserts committed.  So come on by, bring a bottle of wine or cheese, or whatever.  What is most important is that you come, because…..

We will have special guests speaking — Adam Murphy, who has announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for the 9th Congressional District, and Joy Powers, who ran for delegate in Bedford County.  They will have time to answer your questions about the 9th District and rural politics.

This part of the evening will be followed by fun — games, music, and at the request of some of our wilder members, even dancing.
