Support Sen. Kaine, Karen Baker

Join us in supporting and celebrating Sen. Tim Kaine and our local candidate for Congress, Karen Baker. This fundraiser will feature good food — a buffet by Mickey G! — good music and conversation, and a chance to hear and meet Tim and Karen. Selfies? Of course!

Republicans are spending big to deny Tim a third term in the Senate, and our 9th District Republican in the U.S. House acts like he has no competition.  Let’s surprise ’em — what do you say?

It’s really important, so please contribute at the highest level you can manage:

• New River Hosts at $2,500,
• Buffalo Mountain Co-Hosts at $1,000,
• Little River Sponsors at $500,
• Forest Friends at $100, or
• Educators and students at $25.

RSVP to SWVArising@gmail.com. Checks should be written Baker for VA 9th.  If you didn’t already mail them to PO Box 374, Floyd, VA 24091, bring them with you Friday evening.  As required by election laws, please include your name, address, and employer or, if appropriate, “retired.” Questions?  Phone 540-695-0646.

Sorry, we can accept no more reservations at this late date.
